Russian situation becoming scarier

Is the anti-missle system aimed at Russia like the Sudetenland was like a dagger pointed at the heart of Germany?
This new sabre rattling from Russia, coupled with the situation in Ossetia seems to be following a disturbing trend. Watching booknotes a few weeks back on a book about Russia that addressed the Katyn forrest massacre of the Polish officer corps (25,000 +/- shot in the back of the head, civilians included, by the NKVDP) taught me that there is a growing "literature" in Russia denying Soviet responsibility of the massacre. Add to that the fact that Stalin is still popular in Russia and Russia, flush with oil ang gas wealth, appears menacing once again.
