anDoug, I think it was totally out of line for Bush to discourage any talks between enemies especially on soil where some talk and peace is much needed. Have you read the book, Three Cups Of Tea? This book is based on a real American hero who has brought much salvation to the people of Pakistan and surrounding countries like Afghanistan by speaking with our "enemies". Hope you read this book if you haven't already.
